Royal Building Products is a leading manufacturer and distributor of building materials, pipe and fittings. We have over 20 manufacturing facilities across North America that generate more than $3 Billion Dollars of revenue on a yearly basis. We are unique in our vertical integration from raw materials through to manufacturing and onto distribution.
Through the years, we have experienced many break-ins to our compounds and buildings; with virtually no success in deterring criminal activity or ever catching a thief. When we were moving into our new manufacturing facility in Gloucester Estates earlier this year, I started researching our security options... the reports back on Sonitrol included multiple Police recommendations and references highlighting hundreds and hundreds of apprehensions.
We moved in and went live with our Verified Intrusion and SonaVision systems on August 1st this year. On Christmas Day, our security measures were put to the test and passed with flying colours. The RCMP response was swift and effective - capturing the intruder in our compound before he could damage anything or make off with any of our product!
