Break-in stopped at The Keg building in renovation by Sonitrol verified security system

"I just wanted to write a quick note to you so you could pass our thanks along to the Vancouver Police Department for their quick response to our Gabriola Mansion this morning at 2:51am.

 

This is a vacant mansion that we are soon to renovate into a Keg Restaurant. These vacant facilities are the targets of vandals who like to strip the copper pipe and wire out of them to sell to metal recyclers. The damage caused by these vandals can be huge. We wanted to avoid this type of damage and and therefore employed your active audio to protect the mansion while it sits vacant.

 

Last night the Sonitrol audio sensors detected a vandal as he attempted to gain entry. Your operators dispatched the VPD who responded with a K9 team and apprehended this vandal before he could cause damage to the mansion.
