Calgary Police and K-9 Unit sent to PCL by Sonitrol Central Control to stop theft in progress

Please send our thank you along to the Calgary Police dispatchers and officers.

 

Your monitoring staff received video of a male walking around our compound at 2:42 am this morning look for items to steal. They immediately contacted Calgary Police dispatchers who promptly sent multiple officers and a K-9 unit to our equipment compound.

 

This response was awesome and will certainly have taught this thief not to mess with Sonitrol protected compounds. In the past, we have tried to protect our sites with a third party security company, and this effort was unsuccessful.

 

We are pleased to be able to give Police the verified tools they need to effectively utilize their stretched resources and apprehend criminals in the act. Hopefully this thief will educate his colleagues to the police response he experienced.
