Sonitrol verified security system stops copper theft at Rize Alliance construction site

"I just wanted to send you a quick note that I hope you will pass on to Vancouver Police for us.
Early this morning at 12:53am your operators watched two copper thieves enter our Rolston construction site. They immediately dispatched VPS who responded in force with a K-9 unit. The responding officers found these thieves up on our construction crane getting ready to steal the electrical cable. Had they been successful this would have shut down our site for a significant amount of time and been a very expensive repair.
Copper theft is a very big problem for the construction industry and we are pleased to be able to give police the verified tools they require to be able to apprehend these thieves and make our community safer.
Please pass our thanks along to your monitoring team and the VPD dispatchers and officers for their excellent response! Hopefully these two will educate the criminal community to stay away from Sonitrol/VPD protected sites."
