Please send a huge Thank You to the Calgary Police Department, their 911 operators and your Sonitrol monitoring staff for their terrific work in capturing 3 people who broke into our store just before 1:30 AM this morning!
Your Verified audio listening system detected the movement of these thieves as they picked their way through one of our large receiving doors. You dispatched the Calgary Police immediately, and moments later they had all 3 culprits in custody!
In 2018, we replaced an old and failing Tyco system with your state of the art audio technology that actually hears the sounds of thieves breaking into buildings before they are even inside - letting 911 operators listen in and giving the Police the confirmation they need to know that a B&E is actually taking place.
The extremely fast response from the CPS including a canine unit, is a testament that the Police will respond quickly when they know the alarm is "real".
