Sonitrol Operators Heard Thieves and Stopped a Break-In at Aaron's Sales & Leasing
"Dear Mike;
As you know, we are located in a high crime area. Because of that, in 2006 we selected Sonitrol as our security provider. Our hope was that your reputation within the criminal community would deter break-ins to our store.
For 7 years we had not had a break-in; until this morning at 3:49 AM when your audio sensors detected thieves who were forcing their way under our receiving door and into our warehouse.
As promised, your operations staff "heard" these thieves as they were gaining entry.
They immediately dispatched Surrey RCMP, who responded within a couple of minutes and apprehended these thieves before they could steal anything.
Please pass our sincere thank-you along to the Surrey RCMP and your monitoring staff for a job well done. Your staff was excellent and very professional in the handling of the call. The members of the RCMP who were on scene did a tremendous job and I greatly appreciate their actions. Their professionalism and skill in securing my business makes myself and my owners feel secure in the knowledge that these highly trained officers are patrolling our area.
We are pleased to be doing our part to better utilize police resources by employing verified security and making our community safer through the apprehension of criminals in the act.
